
My Story
Otolaryngology/Sleep Apnea
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with degrees in Spanish and Biomedical Engineering, he attended Boston University School of Medicine, earning his Master's degree in Medical Science, with a thesis on MRI technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Shah then went on to earn his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class.
He completed his residency training at Tufts Medical Center in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Shah has earned many awards and recognitions throughout his training and is published in multiple journals and textbooks. Along with international medical mission work, he has a special interest in medical education. As Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Shah enjoys teaching students at Tufts University School of Medicine and Otolaryngology residents at Tufts Medical Center. He enjoys golf, cooking, and photography, and is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Shah's medical interests include head and neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and pediatric ENT. He is also the Director of the Inspire Upper Airway Stimulation Implant Program at Morton Hospital, to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Shah is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
