Due to health concerns, school cancellations, and various other pandemic-related factors we regret to inform our patients and all others attempting to contact ENT Specialists Inc., that our ENT Team is acutely short-staffed.

We are trying to pull in other support resources as soon as possible, but we want to make our patients aware of delays in phone response and other support activities. We are working to assure that this outage is as brief a time period as possible. If your situation is an emergency, we encourage you, as always to dial 911.

We apologize for any difficulties that are caused by this temporary outage.

 

Covid-19 Office Visit Required Behaviors

Because the safety of our patients and staff is very important to us, we are instituting new rules to ensure everyone’s safety while visiting one of our offices.

Pre-Appointment:

Before an office visit ALL PATIENTS are required to:
  1. Take their temperature the morning of their visit. If you have a fever, 100.5 or greater, then you should call and reschedule your appointment.

  2. We now require all patients and staff to wear masks while in the office. If you do not have a mask, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.

  3. ALL patients must complete the COVID-19 Pre-Screen Kit. Please print, fill out, sign and bring with you to your appointment.

  4. To limit time in the waiting room, we ask for all patients to complete paperwork required for the visit before the visit. It is important to reduce wait times in the office. The forms can be found on our web site, printed and completed prior to your visit.

In-Office Behavior to Enable Social Distancing

We will be observing CDC guidelines governing social distancing. With these guidelines in mind we will be limiting the number of people in the office to reduce the exposure risk to our patients and staff.

A patient may bring one additional person with them to the appointment if they need assistance. If there is room, given the 6-foot social distancing guidelines, the additional person may stay with the patient during the appointment. If we are unable to comply with the social distancing guidelines due to other patients present in the office, we may ask you and your additional person to wait in the car until space is available in the building.

We need to re-emphasize the need to limit time in the waiting room. All patients need to complete the paperwork required before their visit. Reducing wait times is vital to ensure social distancing in the office. Forms can be found on our web site.

We are constantly monitoring new guidance from the State of Massachusetts and the CDC and will communicate to our patients any changes as they occur. Lastly, we would like to take a moment to thank our staff. We’ve never experienced something like this in our 50 years of medical practice. We didn’t have a playbook for a lot of the choices we had to make, and so many things changed so fast. So many of you have been so flexible – wearing different hats, working from home, and doing what you could to help us continue to make a difference in the life of our patients.
