Joy Walsh:
Medical Speech Language Pathologist
Joy has been a medical speech language pathologist since 2000, specializing in motor-speech disorders (i.e., Parkinson's Disease), swallowing disorders and voice disorders. Joy has a particular affinity for professional voice users. When not working as an SLP, Joy enjoys writing, singing, and performing with her band or walking in the woods with her dog. Joy has a BFA in acting from Virginia Commonwealth University (1992) and a Master of Science degree from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.
